A sold-out Elysian Theater experienced love at first swipe with my giant, living 85-inch wing-phone Pluggy in Instamacy, an interactive narrative pop concert about romance in a world where our little phones dominate our big lives. Featuring a hybrid performance system blending digital puppetry, original UI animation, and custom multi-plane hardware with live alpha screen projection, the result was an entirely new physical-digital format: a sentient device brought to life through real-time camera integration, layered media, and responsive stagecraft.
