For an audience raised on recorded media, it’s hard for live performance to really feel like ‘real life’. So we brought the cameras in, turning the entire Elysian Theater into a living set for performances from some of the most dynamic musicians and comedians coming up today — Brian Robert Jones, Addie Addie Addie, Demi Adejuyigbe, Ben Lapidus and, of course, Jake Timeline. Industry ‘gatekeepers’ like Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Coolidge (played by impersonators) along with the actual Tim Nordwind (lead singer of OK Go) served as judges for our bizarro hypermodern mix of TRL, SNL, and The Voice.
